Collaboration is the object of research in diverse fields. This social phenomenon underpins the need for interdisciplinary approaches. Therefore, the intention of this volume is to highlight the various concepts of collaboration in the modern world. Thereby we considered that collaboration includes a number of different attributes such as: reciprocity, partnerships, transfer and exchange of information, joint negotiations, dialogue and overall communication codes along with joint creation of knowledge.
